While Morgan was doing her homework -- these two characters had some glue fun:

Don't ask... he couldn't tell me what it was either!  Although after a few more attempts to add on.. he said something about it being an obstacle course!  Sure could pass for one in my books.  Whatever.. he had fun and left M alone to finish her homework before they ran off to play Star Wars meets Princess Fairy thingy...

It was a fun activity and no one was hurt during the event -- that's a bonus, right?!  Happy Wednesday!

Such a big helper!

He sees M&M helping me cook often and he wants in on the action... but his attention span is pretty short...

He went to town with this juicer!  I think we have a future career here...

I forget how big he is getting sometimes.  I often think of him as a baby still.  But he's not (and he will remind me!).  But we have our moments where his baby whining drives me insane!  He acts like he's 5 one minute and then a 1 year old the next!  Gotta love those big brown eyes and long lashes though!

Star Wars this and Star Wars that....

He can't wait for his birthday... why???  Because he was with me at Target the other day and spent about 30 minutes drolling over all the Star Wars toys that he will ask Grandma (Vince's mom) for!  He wants a light saber... but I just don't see why he needs one.  He is currently using a plastic baseball bat and I think it serves its purpose very well.  He has real battles with E and no one gets hurt.  He looks forward to his morning battles with Daddy and it seems only Daddy gets hurt!  And at the end of the battle, we go outside and it's a baseball bat.  So, really, does he need a $30 plastic thing that the store calls a light saber?  I think his made up one is SO much better!  August will be an interesting month!

So, this morning, Morgan asked to have this for breakfast!

YES, an artichoke!

Crazy, I know!!!  She was asking to have a second helping of noodles, but saw the bowl of artichokes (which were to be eaten last night but we were so full from pizza... so... there they were taunting her from the counter!) and asked for the artichookes instead!  She normally will dip them in a garlic lemon sause that I make, but she was so anxious to eat it that she did not care the sauce was not made... one whole artichoke down to the heart (that's her eating the heart in the second photo) - all by herself! 

That's my girl!

Ed, Uyen, you can bring the boys over anytime... no guarantee that I can convert them to artichoke lovers though!
