Happy Chinese New Year!

Mom was busy all morning cutting, chopping, cooking, loading, unloading, and making the table look like this:

Through Morgan's eyes:

After burning incense, they went outside to burn the various joss papers -- to send new clothes and money to my dad and grandparents (minus my maternal grandmother who is continuing to do very well in Cambodia!).

After we had lunch, Ma sat down and offered each of her grandchildren a red envelope filled with lucky money to bring them luck for the new year:  the eldest always goes first!

He actually tried cutting in a few times!  ;)

We are now off to the snow!  See you in a few days with lots of stories and LOTS of pictures!
