Anyway, here they are -- if you want to make them, they are super easy! You need to buy some Oreo chocolate cookies, lollipop sticks, candy molds, and milk chocolate chips for melting. These items can be purchased at Michael's - except the cookies, that is. Remember to put lollipop sticks into the cookies, then put the cookies into the fridge for at least 10 minutes. That way the melted chocolate will stick better.
We made the red heart molds first then stuck them on the chocolate dipped Oreos to harden. Actually, these are the Market pantry double cream chocolate cookies from Target. I used the original Oreos last time and they kept falling apart on me! These were very easy and quick to make. If you want the original directions, go here.
Then we wrapped them up! Rather than spending more money on special bags for the pops like I did last year -- I just bought fold over sandwich bags (I have 300 if anybody needs any!) and we tied a ribbon around them!
Lighting is pretty bad since they don't look very yummy in these photos!
Anyway, the boys will make some tomorrow while Morgan is at school. They were dying to touch the melted chocolate but I didn't want her treats to be ruined by her brothers. So we agreed to have them make their own tomorrow and whatever theirs looks like in the end, they will eat them no matter what! :)
